A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, is a very great play. I enjoy reading this play as a class. When I read the play I can actually picture the family just by knowing how harsh times were in past and especially for African Americans. The life there living is very difficult and especially the environment there in there's no room they don't really have much, all they really have is a dream.
In this play the character I relate to the most is Beneatha, why you may ask? Well Beneatha has a very open mind she believes that she can be what ever she sets her mind to she doesn't need a rich man to live out her dream. I'm very much like her I set my mind to any dream doesn't matter how hard it is to get there, I get there. The dreams Beneatha and I have are dreams that take a long time to achieve. Although we believe in ourself and we will do anything to achieve our dream. It doesn't matter what anyone says, not even if that dream is crazy girls like us will achieve it someday.

Experience in English 11 1st Semester
My experience in my first semester of English 11 was great. I learned many things during this semester and succeeded. I became a much better writer this year being in your class my essays come out great, before I would struggle to even write two paragraphs now it's nothing with the skills I learned this semester. Though writing our essay on Huckleberry Finn was quiet difficult but only because it was on a hard book but I still managed to complete 4 paragraphs in 50 minutes and very detailed as well. Essays's that I've done during this semester like the editorial was not difficult at all. But I feel like I'm good at writing essays on things that we get to pick on what we write about only because it's something that has a meaning to me. I've tried really hard this semester English use to be one of the least classes I liked but now I'm confident about English now. My English skills grew rapidly through out my 10th grade 2nd semester and 11th grade 1st semester. I use to struggle through English It was hard to understand what I was reading but I can say that all that has changed this year taking notes on books is a easy way for me to understand a novel. I learned tons during this 1st semester and I'm ready to learn more through out the year.
Cheer is a Sport !
Cheer is a sport. But our school doesn't Consider cheerleaders as athletes. This upsets the whole squad, we would like to be treated like all the other sports in the school. Just because we're not a running type of sport doesn't mean were not a sport. We work just as hard as all the other sports here at Firebaugh High School. If you wanna say cheerleading isn't a sport then try doing the things we do!
