A Raisin In The Sun

A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, is a very great play. I enjoy reading this play as a class. When I read the play I can actually picture the family just by knowing how harsh times were in past and especially for African Americans. The life there living is very difficult and especially the environment there in there's no room they don't really have much, all they really have is a dream.
In this play the character I relate to the most is Beneatha, why you may ask? Well Beneatha has a very open mind she believes that she can be what ever she sets her mind to she doesn't need a rich man to live out her dream. I'm very much like her I set my mind to any dream doesn't matter how hard it is to get there, I get there. The dreams Beneatha and I have are dreams that take a long time to achieve. Although we believe in ourself and we will do anything to achieve our dream. It doesn't matter what anyone says, not even if that dream is crazy girls like us will achieve it someday.
